Each screen gets a cleaning compound, then a motorized brush that works into the weave, the corners and the spline channel. We rinse both sides with light pressure and let the screen air dry before the restoration treatment goes on.
Standard window screens and window sunscreens are done in the same visit, and both count toward the same package price.
Window Sunscreen Cleaning
Window sunscreens collect more dust than standard screens. The weave is tighter and the fabric faces the sun all day. After a few summers the dust packs in, a white haze forms on the surface, and the screen looks grey from the street.
Cleaning removes the dust. The restoration treatment that follows brings back an even, dark color on sunscreens that are still structurally sound. We do both in the same visit, on single-story and two-story homes, and the two-story package includes normal second-story access.
If a sunscreen's fabric is brittle or torn, cleaning and restoration won't bring it back. We point those screens out during the inspection and explain the repair or replacement before any work is done.

We set up in your driveway or yard and work on the screens there. Each screen goes back in the window it came from before we leave. You're never left with empty frames overnight.
Condition Inspection on Every Screen
While each screen is down, we check the mesh, spline, clips and frame. We tell you which screens are in good shape and which need a repair before we do anything extra.
